How many people have removed the hard line that connects to the intake? I was thinking of deleting it with a plug and little filter. Just wondering if this would cause any problems.

yeah, i probably shouldnt call it a hard line, because most people on the forum have removed it. I'll get a picture once i can get a camera available, but its the line that when replacing the intake you add a hose and re-route a coolant line. I'll hunt the forum for a pic

its called an oil breather...i removed it and installed an oil breather filter.

 

thats what i was planing on doing, but i have the stock intake. Has anyone done this with the stock intake, if so what kind of plug did you use to plug up the intake?

 

get a condom like rubber cap at any auto store and plug it up. for the pipe that coming out of the valve cover buy a breather filter and put it on, for the coolant line get a rubber hose and reconnect it from the two points which u disconnected it from. all of this you gout get at pepboys, auto zone, murrays, ect....
