removing the foglight..help

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get instructions on how to remove the foglights. Mine cracked and I would like to replace it with Lexan but after an initial lookfrom the hood, it seems so difficult to take out the foglight.

iknow lexan comes in different widths. Whare width are you guys using. Also, how do i cut the lexan?

thanks...

It's pretty easy, if you look under the grill you will see a small hole with a 10mm bolt. By removing a bit of the black plastic from under your car you cant reach that bolt with your other hand. Once it is removed, the casing will be loose, but wont pop out. Just wedge it out LIGHTLY with a flathead and then viola.

Shouldn't take more then a few minutes to remove the fog. Check your manual... instructions are right in there....

i'LL TRY TO CLARIFY A BIT.THE HOLE IS UNDER THE FOGLIGHTS DIRECTLY BELOW THE "HONDA" NAME ON THE LENS.THE HOLES ABOUT THE SIZE OF A QUARTER BUT SQUARE. YOU NEED A 10MM SOCKET AND ABOUT 8" OF EXTENTION.IF YOUR GOOD YOU CAN BLINDLY GUIDE THE SOCKET UP THROUGH THE HOLE AND FIND THE BOLT. IF NOT,WELL THEN GET THE FLASHLIGHT OUT, PUT THE CAR ON RAMPS, PUT THE GOGGLES ON, AND GET DIRTY. THATS BY FAR THE HARDEST PART. THEN USE THE SCREWDRIVER TO PRY THE HOUSING OUT.

The hardest part for me was putting that 10mm screw back. I had to fish around a little until it found the thread. Taking it off was easy.

It was pretty straight forward. The manual actually provides enough info.

Just change mine to Piaa Xtreme White. It's 5 mins easy job, make sure you have a flathead screwdriver to slide it out.

Dont really need to put the car on ramps (unless it is slammed to the ground). I did mine in my driveway w/o jacking it up.

i thought if you read it again you'd realize that you only need the ramps if you cant manage to guide the tool in the hole(calm down not that tool)
the 1st time i did the fog removal i had no idea how to it so i was trying to look around and figure it out, thats where the ramps came into play,I just couldn't manage to get my fat head under my bumper to look around without rubbing my nose on it.
thats kinda i was trying to say sorry it didnt come out right.
