Removal of AC Vent on passenger side or Clifford Alarm LED, who knows how??

I want to get the Blackwood trim for the Vents on the passenger side Dash of the car, but my installer mounted my Clifford Alarm LED on the bottom of the vent piece which is on the left hand passenger side. The LED sticks out quite a bit and I dont like the surround that says Clifford on it; cheapens the interior of the car. What I want to do is sink the LEd a little further into the dash so that once I drill a hole in the Blackwood trim piece and put it over the LED it will be nice and flush, or at least it wont stick out as much. Anyone know how to do this?? Thanx in advance.

Can you push back in a little? If not you should able to reach in under the dash and pull it back a little. I'm just guessing cause I don't know how he installed it. Not sure why he did it that way either. I would have mounted it in the blank next to the interior light dimmer.

BTW, the Clifford cover for the light comes right off. It's held on with some double faced-tape.

Hey Mr Hyde, don't drill a hole in your new blacktrim just yet when you get them. They do or they did make flush mount LED's which mount from behind. I've got them in my car. But in my car, I took the triangular piece by the sidewiew mirror on each door and installed the LED's about a 1"-2" above the "window sill:p " facing toward the back. Nice and flush, look's pretty cool when armed in my opinion. It's so easy, I installed LED's on each of my last four car's I've owned.
I'll ask my friend if we could still get them if you want. I'll be intalling my OEM kit sometime in the next few day's. Final piece come's Thursday. I'll be in New Hyde putting them in if you wanna see how the LED'S look.

Later.

That's what I did too!. I have Varad SuperBright LEDs in each triangle. They look much brighter than the pic shows!

Hey TL Daddy, that's the EXACT same spot on my car. Look's pretty cool standing right behind the car looking in right?
Look's pretty good in blue, mine's the usual red.
This install spot look's real good in person when it's dark out.

No need to be sorry, I don't remember your real name either Thanks for offering me the use of the install center. I don't think I want to carry these boxes in my TL-S if you know what I mean. But I have been waiting for the rear piece for 3 weeks now, hmmm. I'll PM you tomorrow.

Jake gave me that idea too. Just finished doing it last weekend. Looks great. Very bright blue Varad led. Did the driver's side, may do the passenger's side soon.
