Remote Lock Acting weird....

When I hit the "LOCK" button on the remote once the car locks all doors but the parking lights do not flash nor go on. When I do it again it re-locks but no parking lights and no beep comes from the front when it's usually pressed twice, I checked EVERY door to make sure it was closed and its still acting like that whats up with that?

All other buttons work fine just the lock is acting up.

On another acura we owned I some how got one remote set up to be silent. If the doors are locking this is likely the case.

Does it happen with both remotes?

Everything is working fine now... Now this is weird...... My neighbors 2G TL alarm keeps going off in the middle of the night without anyone touching it. The remote was left untouched and was checked for sticky buttons or if anything was hitting the Panic button but nothing was. Everytime he hits lock 20min the alarm goes off and he has a stock TL/

I have seen both yours and your neighbor's problem caused by a defective hood latch switch. It's a pretty common problem. If you disconnect it, the alarm won't go off randomly. Also notice if you disconnect it you lose the lights flashing and the chirp when you lock it. Just do this as a test because the alarm isn't set when you disconnect the switch.
