ok so there is this REALLY annoying robin (bird) that keeps pecking at my side view mirrors early in the moring and sh*ts all over the side of my car...I want to kill the freakin thing cause every morning i go out and there is bird crap all over each side of the car...i try to turn the mirrors in and either he still sits there or i forget b/c its hard to remember....does anyone else suffer from this crap? any suggestions? lol, thanks

No, but I think you should set a trap. Have a net over the car, watch for the bird to move in, and drop the net.

Trap that son of a bitch, drive out as far as you can and let it go so it doesn't come back to your car. Better yet, box it up and FedEx it to South America or something.

shoot rubber bands at the bird instead of BB. that way you won't break your windows and still deliver a good blow

 

easy solution....put a layer of super glue on a clear wrap and tape it above ur mirror...until the next morning, have fun w/ the poor son of a b**ch....

 

Airsoft guns are highly effective! Wont break your window, but it will get the job done! I was in LA last week and I shot a parrot that kept waking me up at 7am... he lived, but never came back!

thanks all but unfortunatley any kind of trap wont work b/c he comes out at like 6 in the mornin (dunno exact time) and if i put a trap out there chances are something else is going to get to that b4 the cardinal gets to it. im gonna HOPE it just goes away if i can remember to turn my mirrors in

 

Put some rubber snakes on the mirrors and on the hood and roof. That should keep the birds away.

what an insane bird. not enough branches around there so it has to sit and shit on side-view mirrors? i'm for the violent approach. why should you have to remember to turn the mirrors in every day?

 

the bird is sitting on his window seal and pecking at the window that is why he keeps coming back. so if you turn in the mirrors he cant see the window and no reason for him to come back. we will hopefully find a new car to shit on.

set up some sort of tazer to sit on the side of your car so when he lands its the only thing to land on and then you will have roast bird in the morning.

 

ok this is what you should really do... pour gasoline all over your car... then after that sit beside your car until the bird comes and light your car on fire!!! then you will never have that problem ever again... its a win win situation... if you burn the bird he'll be dead... if you burn ur car u wont hav a car for the bird to sit on!!! i kid i kid

 

You could go to any boat store (West Marine in Minnesota works) and get what they call a "scare eye". It's a giant eye that you can hang and it blows in the breeze and scares off birds. Hang that somewhere by your car or even on the mirror.

 

Join the "Bird shits on your car club". I feel your pain....then again if your car is white like mine the poo poo will give your car a two tone color to your car... hehe

 

that bird must really hav it out for your car, maybe you should wire some kinda shock wire electrocute that bird when he lands on it.
