This is what one of the salesmen told me about the side mirrors:

" Looks great! Our management told us the 04 TL didn't has side rear view mirrors and I can't see any in the pix's. Don't know how that's going to work but can't wait to find out."

You know what would be cool, if they don't have side mirrors maybe they will have side cameras. And inside there will be 3 screen. 2 will be for the sides and 1 in the center will be rearview screen. Of course you can switch the center between navigation and rear view, oh and also dvd screen, and has an input jack for computer screen also, and while im at it, make it a night vision screen also.

That's the TL concept car. I'm not sure the production car will look like that, but it should be close.

Me like!

The front end screams TSX. I wonder if ordinary people (who dont know too much about cars) will be able to differentiate the new TL with the TSX on the road when viewed head-on. I think Acura should have made the new TL front end a little more distinctive. I hope they will do this with the production TLs'. The overall appearance of the car doesn't really look like a luxury car, but more like an ordinary sports sedan. Doesn't really look like a car that costs $33K. I also noticed that they did away the side moldings like the upcoming BMW 5-Series which is a bad idea. Lastly, the new TL appears smaller than the current TL which I don't really like.

Whoa... I think I liked it better in the blurry shots! Maybe my imagination made it look hotter that I thought it was. I still think it's hot, but it looks too edgy, I thought it might be a little more smooth at the edges.

I bet the grill lines in the front lights will be out. So will the wheels. Although, if Acura keeps those wheels, it will be amazing! I like the sidemarkers too! Can't believe we haven't seen this done before.

I am dying to see the inside now. Who got this shot... and HOW??

IMHO its really not an very impressive looking car. The rear looks like the new Audi A4 and rest just looks like, well, like a Honda. And the no side molding idea just means dent city unless the doors are plastic. I always try to park my car away from everyone at a parking lot but inevitably some dork finds it necessary to park next to me, way out at the end of the lot, like a big piece of shi|t 1980's style Lincoln did today. Good thing there was a door molding on the car.

As for the x-drilled rotors, that probably just for the concept car, but big deal anyway, you can buy those for our TL if you want them. A very uninspiring design.

That $hit looks HOT!:wow: I will definitely take a lot of pics when I go to the autoshow on the 19th.

It will probably not look exactly like it but it will still look good. Are those projectors I see?

well if you think about it...ordinary people also have a hard time telling mb's apart..so maybe acura is just following suit with models that compliment each other...

anyway...new design is alright..im still partial to my 03...altho im sure this design will grow on me....man..4 side markers...more to clear out ... :flamer: more money

TLX anyone? I like the overall shape of the car, but I agree that it does look way too much like the tsx. I thought that the shot in the background was the tsx when I first saw the pic. Oh, and as far as the no side mirrors go, come on guys you know our gov'ment will not allow any car maker to have no side mirrors. I think that the cameras would be allowed to aid in rear view visibility, but you can already imagine the lawsuit if the camera goes out while changin' lanes and what could happen!

Ya I was thinking the exact same thing.. A car maker cant change the way a car is to be driven, lol like in driving classes they will have a special class for People with Acura TL's for the Rearview Mirrors lol

:smokin: In Florida, in the summer, you do the same as the smiley when you leave your car out in the sun: you start to smoke. If there is one feature i would like to see on the new TL, it would be air conditioned perforated seats in all 4 seats.
