Do you have glasses in the case holder? I often hear a rattle and it drives me nuts until I realize it's my shades rattling in the holder. I wear glasses so either my shades or my regular glasses are in there all the time

But the fix is really easy - and saves your sunglasses too - get a scotch microfiber cleansing cloth (they are about wash cloth size, and cut it to fit a wrap around your sunglasses - keeps them from rattling, gives you MF cloth to wipe the lenses!

I wish acura (and other makers) who are nice enough to give you a sunglasses holder, would line the damn thing.

Yup ... last time I wife stored her sun glasses in there and I made loud rattling noise and we could not figure where it came from but finally we nailed it.

Acura should have put a layer of cloth like they put on the coin holder in there.

I wish the problem was just my glasses rattling (I wear them when I drive so its not a problem), the problem is the whole unit is loose and buzzes against the roof when the subs hit. I'd to have to pay acura just to tighten some screws, but I seem to be missing something.

I dont know how I missed fsttyms1's post - that was the problem. I took off the clear plastic and the screw was just resting on it.

the 04 tsx has the lining in the sunglass holder. and the MODE button to change from cd to radio
