ran into a lowering issue. looked in DIY

dropping the car today on the eibach kit i picked up for a good price.

very simply put.. the strut mount wont fit on to the new spring..

ps. this is the front we're having issues with

could i have just received the wrong part #

and yes, big springs up front.. so i dont have them swapped...

any help is appreciated.

i use camber kits for peice of mind anyway..

can anyone explain why the springs for this car are smaller on engine side?

i sat scratching my head for a while at this... if i remember right "its been a while" the springs on both my accords were wider in the front and smaller/more coiled in the back..

i was 100% positive i had it all right.. and im sitting there comparing part numbers and calling eibach... it was a mess.. all i had to do was reach over and grab the other pair of springs.

it didnt help that i was back seat installing.. i was supposed to be watching and learning so i could drop the TL lower later on but i made matters worse by screaming ITS THE BIG ONES from the lawn chair and beer filled ice chest..

oh well.. i took the seats out

pics later
