He's talking about RainX.
Its this greasy liquid you put on your windows. Make sure the window is clean, then put it on, and keep rubbing until window is clean again. Its pretty tough, but if your traveling over 30mph any rain or snow flies right off, it is pretty cool.

Rain-X is a good product but you should try GLASSPEL. I got this stuff put on at Ziebart Tidy Car. This was put on the windsheild & last for 6months or longer.I had mine put on last year in April the cost was $20.
I have used Rain-X & still do on side & rear glass.GlassPel works longer & has no side effects like Rain-X. This is night time glare when first put on or wiper chatter.
I also use the Rain-X pink washer fluid.
The GlassPel is great stuff I also saw it sold at a Full Service Precision Tune that my sister takes her van to.

for the amount of work that went into me putting rainX on all the windows, I was REALLY hoping that it would last longer than it did. I only got a few weeks of a noticable improvement in the rain, then it was back to normal.

The night time glare that Rainx produces is horrible. Works great during the day, but I want to be able to see at night too.

I will only use it on side and rear windows.

Guess what? Rain X is nothing but rubbing alcohol.
You're paying 3x the price for RUBBING ALCOHOL!!!!
What a marketing scam!

Look at the ingredients and you'll see.

I looked, it doesn't list ingredients. I seriously doubt its just alcohol.

Maybe (Ziebart Tidy Car) in NJ area. I got mine put on last year at Ziebart in Balt/Wash area it cost $20 for the front windshield only. You do not get the night time glare that comes with Rain-X.
They put the treatment on your glass.
They use some kind of pad to put it on the winshield. The stuff is still working but they put a sticker on the windshied when to reapply.Iam way past that date & the guy that owns the place said it might last a year.I got it put on when they did my tint.

RainX is the shit. I drove around in one of my old cars with just RainX on because my windshield wiper motor was broke. RainX saved my ass.
