Radio code help for you

so some of you may already know this but if I can help one person thats cool. SO,I did some car work this weekend and couldnt find my radio code card. I know a bunch of you have delt with this. I called up my local acura parts dept and the girl had me shut my radio off, with the car on, hold down preset #1 and #6 at the same time and 2 codes pop up on your screen. I gave her the codes and she gave me my radio code right from her acura website in seconds, over the phone. AND - in case mine didnt work, se gave me the acura generic radio code as well, there are a few she said but narrowed it down by the codes i gave her.
It worked , i have music again!
Hope this helps someone.

its most likely in your owners manual on a small plastic card

If you don't have one, you can click here to get an Owner's Manual.

the radio trick only works on certain years, there are other methods too, like by vin- an online search will reveal them
Once you have the codes- store them on your acura.com account
Smart owners write them somewhere, like the edge of the glovebox door

Another help is sometimes it wont take a code unless no antenna signal present- that means unplug the antenna or go to an underground parking lot and try it there
