Is the radiator supposed to be loose?

As I was cleaning my engine bay today, I found that the radiator is loose in the bay. It moves back and forth from the front of the car to the rear.
Is this normal? Safe?

Thats what I thought at first, however the motor doesn't move that much. It makes sense for it to move a little bit, but I dont think that it should be moving this much.
Anybody else?

Yes, more or less.

the radiator is on rubber grommets to allow `slight` amount of motion- helps protect the hose connections from breaking

Check that its not actually moving 1/2 inch or more- something is loose or broken
-1/4 inch is ok

A little play is fine, just make sure the rubber grommets are all still there. If one's missing, replace it.
