Saturday night i was out i had my boy and 2 girls in the car with we were on the way home from seaside (about 10:30 pm).....so right on the highway i think its rt.18 i see a black CL with full cat back exhaust and a CAI full OEM bodykit.....i passed him slowly glanced over and thought nothin about racing him until he dropped a gear and revved up the engine so when i heard the CAI and i dropped into 3rd to get ready i look to my left and he's trying to pass me but has a car in front of him but i had to wait until i got closer to what i thought was and under cover cop......we got closer to the car and he pulls behind me so i gunned it i took off he was tailing me for about 10 seconds then i pulled a car and a half away then eventually i looked back and he was at least 3 cars back then eventually he gradually slowed down.......we came to a light and i thought he was going to try me again so i was ready but unfortunatly he didnt make an attempt so dat brightened up my night after recieving a $30 parking ticket lol

 

If that CL wanted a piece of you when you came to a stop, he would have owned you! You had four people in your car and your stock. Was he alone? or did he have people as well?

 

he had 2 other people with him

 

If it was a CL-S with E & CAI, he could have kicked your ass whether you had people in your car or not.

$30?? That's it!? WTF!! Here in PA, they would have thrown the book at both of us

 

there is no oem bodykit for the cl...and how could you possible know it had a catback exhaust...anyway..sounds like a good race...altho it sound slike the cl should have owned you...

btw..i got the same 30 dollar parking ticket when i was at pt pleasant...forgot to pay the damn meter

shiiiiit the way that CL sounded i figured he had a cat back on it cuz it was real clean and clear pretty loud too......yea i never doubted the CL i was suprised at the outcome i thought he was gonna beat me but i dont know.........it was a regular CL not a CL-s

 

the cl cant be THAT Much faster 1 person in each runnin stock?
