quick tranny question

quick tranny question

I know i was told to use the search feature... and i tried a bunch of times with no luck to answer my question... if the tranny goes on an 02 tl... are the newest update of trannys for 06 still faced with this same problem, are are they now problem free. I know other versions have still had the problem, but are they fixed for this year? thanks for your help guys

Yes the new update is supposed to have fixed the problem. That remains to be seen but a few people here have had thiers for a bit without problems so lets just hope so.

Its still unknown as its fairly early, but so far it looks promising as only 1 has had a problem and we dont really know what happened to his and if it had the updates for sure.

So i don't understand. If our tranny blows they will replace it with a 06 TL tranny? or is it still our tranny but just corrected?

I actually called a few dealers' service departments in the area and ask a few questions about the tranny. One dealer said they replaced 300 last year and as far as he could recollect only 2 had problems. Im hoping that the new tranny's are more durable but im hoping I never need one. Im at 70k right now and im pretty dead set on getting rid of my car before I hit 100k.
