The back of the back seats isn't that hard to remove if you do need to fit something in there

I've never noticed them being different. I had the back seat completely pulled when I was doing my swap.. In SUVs, they are different because one side folds down so you can get to the third row of seats or back area of the SUV.

I'm telling you guys its there. Next time your in your car look, its there. If your sitting in your car facing forward, I think it is the rear right seat that is smaller. Look at the little "head rests" at the top of the back seats. The right one is considerably smaller than the left.

That's all that is smaller.. the headrest.. it is smaller to have room for the little plastic piece that holds the top of seat belt in place.

Searching the "Second Generation TL (1999-2003)" forum w/ the terms "fold seats" yields your answer -- multiple times.

sorry for threadjack, but did not want to start another thread to ask this question... Does anyone know the size of screw i need to for the back seat? I know they are 10 mm, but how long and can I use the same size for all 4 screws? I lost the screws for it, and my back seat is just placed in the rear without screws... let me know.

They were about 25-30mm long IIRC

Do you still have the seat belt bolts?
