for painting, is it

1. Primer, Wetsand, Paint, Clearcoat

2. Sand, Primer, Wetsand, Paint, Clearcoat

or

3. Sand, Primer, Paint, Clearcoat

4. Im completley wrong

 

sand, primer, sand (or wetsand. the object here is to make it smooth, not remove any paint. if you break thru the primer here you will want to reprimer) , paint, clear wetsand, buff (last 2 if finish doesnt match, or you want it smoother)

 

yep fsttyms1 is right, and be patient with letting each coat dry, dont get too anious to put the next coat on too early, Somone loves the OC like me. Thought i was the olnly one.

haha this is great another OC fan comes out, theresa was the best one anyways. MOAHDRIVEN what are you gonna paint? show us the pics when you are all done.

 

planning on painting my M3 Lip Spoiler...hoping to get it done by weekend, ill post pics when done, i think i'll have to sand down the first thin coat of paint i already put on and reprimer cuz i removed some of it wetsanding...thanks again kris
