Post Questions about High beams

Hey I just registered. I've been reading for a while, but i just got registered. Any how, I have a question, the high beams, when they are on, they activate the HID's also, is there anyway to get rid of that aspect. I want to install DRL's as the highbeams, but this is not possible if the high beams are connected to the HID's. Ok apologise for long message thanks

You should get a helm service manual
www.helminc.com

It shows you wiring diagrams that can help you make the change, if you are any good at electronics. You can also compare the Canadian wiring diagram to the US and get an idea how to do it. You may even be able to get parts or a kit from your dealer to accomplish this. At worst you would have to get it through a Canadian dealer.

Good luck. Let us know how you make out.
