That's a pretty long run on sentence. Gave up trying to read it.

Hmm, you still didn't use any periods. I'm not sure what a "currect" is, but I'm pretty sure you meant "know" instead of "no." But to answer your question, I'm very familiar with this car's ECU PIDs (or rather, lack of), as I had to spoof some of them for emissions. RIP XtremeOBD2.

Oh sorry about my grammer i try to get my point across with little writimg as possable lol

So since there is a lack of PIDs for my car. Im guessing that my voltage (CM) in torque pro is useless then and i pretty much need a standalone volt gauge then. Unless u have another way to get it to work in torque pro im hoping

I use both OBDLink and eCAR Pro and both show system voltage along with all the other standard stuff without any PID tweeks. I'm guessing you have a wrong setting somewhere for the connection. It's an older protocol like ISO9141 or 14230

Grammar*. Writing*. Possible*.

Our cars are old, and our ECU PIDs are even older. Those OBD2 dongles with apps are really meant for newer cars. I believe our car does have a PID for voltage (I think I can get a live reading from my bigger scanner, but not 100% sure anymore), but it's probably an older format that the app won't recognize.

Either way, the voltage is kind of useless. I have a voltmeter gauge (mainly to just fill up the empty spot on my 3 pod A-pillar), and it was only every useful for letting me know my battery died.

well its actully kinda important in my car b.c i run 3 batteries to run my sound system in my car that why i need it so bad lol. but im thinking that torque pro doesnt have the required PIDs in the app it self to run it so i may have to buy in to eCar Pro like the guy above said he was using

alittle update i tryed eCar Pro i didnt like the look and feel of it and i dont think the battery gauge was even working at all plus i need a digi read out not just a needle thats a important thing to have unless it was analog with numbers but the one that was on ecar didnt have number or a digi read out only a needle

Why don't you just get one of those voltage meter that plug into your cig adapter?

Don't those exist?

Or don't some sound systems have voltmeter built in?

There are such things but i dont trust them plus analog voltmeters are more accuret

99 % of amps do not have built in volt gauges

You have some kind of setting wrong or a bad OBD reader. Every app I have tried reads and displays voltage just fine.

well its the bafx products obd2 and its my buddys that let me borrow it to test out on my car and he uses it on his ford f150 and it read his Voltage (CM) just fine which make no sence to me on why it doesnt like my car

what obd2 reader do you use maybe it just the reader it self that is having trouble reading my cars ecu

Pretty sure my BAFX OBDII scanner reads the voltage, but I can double check later when I'm in my car.

yes please and if so please post how you have torque setup so i can have my voltage read out but remeber there is 2 voltage readouts 1 is voltage (CM) which i need and 2 voltage (OBD2 Adapter) which is what the adapter it self is using im thinking

just be aware that the OBDLink MX and LX bluetooth are for Android and Windows devices, NOT the Iphone. If you want iOS support you have to get the MX wi-fi
