Question Question: Installing Glow in the Dark Emblem

Hey,

I want to put the Glow In The Dark 'A' emblem on the grill (instead of the stock A).

I want to know how I can make a switch for it, or connect it properly to parking lights; considering that I have to do a lot of wiring, since the grill is attached to the hood.

gimmy ideas please

Hahaha, dunno about gay... but its definately ghetto in my opinion. That looks cool in Civics and stuff... not on our TLs.

i think it could look good if it were the right color. if i were gonna do this mod, i would run it as if it was the fog lights and follow the DIY for fog lights. just my $.02

I have angel eyes fogs, which are round. The White glow emblem will look good on the car.

I would never put something that would make my car comparable to a civic.

Adam, i was thinking of tapping into my fogs line, but i wasnt sure. thank you. =]

not even a glow in the dark emblem?

i think you and @cur@-TL should have a mini meet to see who has the most light mods. I'm sure he could teach you a thing or 2

GO **** YOURSELF

and i dont fu(kin' care if you dont like my lights cuz i do. i like my strobe, i like my footwell lighting, i like the blue neon behind my front grill and i like my VTEC LED.

and it's not about having the most... i just like the way they look. the strobes are for show. and the vtec led is pretty useful. so is the footwell lighting (and it does look good). the only thing that could be considered rice imo is the front grill neon i admit. but i like the way it looks at night. and i have a neon in the engine bay but i'll remove it i dont like the way it looks.

BTW, why didnt u mention Kman, he has waaaay more lights than i do..

I hate to say it, but I actually like the look of those. they would look even hotter if they were in the fog holes. where did you get these?

my camera didnt capture them too good, they are a lot brighter, especially the rings (hyper white)

I couldnt put them in the fog holes because those are slanted, and it would of looked bad where the fogs would either pop out or shine the sides instead of straight.

what im basically gonna do with those 'fog holes', is cut them out, and mesh the whole thing (all openings), also connect ice box to the right side.

one of my ideas.

Teknoking you could simply tap into the parking light wire that goes from next to the battery out a small hole in the fender there. It heads in the direction of the turn signal and dimmer bulbs. Using a circuit tester turn on the lights and see which wire is hot....there are three or four wires in the bundle. Strip off an inch, splice in tape it up and go.

but i just realized, i have to run the wire under the hood covering first, and then bring it back to the front, then i'll do what you've said.

thanx again.
