Question About Speakers

Noob here so this might sound stupid. My rear speakers blew out so i was thinking about buying some 180W pioneer speakers to replace them, would it work? These were the ones i was lookin at. http://www.beachaudio.com/Pioneer/Ts...-p-138100.html Let me know if it will work. Thanks.

Should work. The TL uses 6.5s. If anything you may need a small spacer to get it to fit properly

The TL doesnt fit the 6.5... not accroding to this site,
http://www.lowrider.com/information/speakerfit/

but nothing would fit without a proper spacer, so if you're going to make spacers anyways... might as well fit 6.5 in there.

i got 6.5 coax in the rear, and 6.5 comp in the front.. the rear used 1.25 inch spacers, front, 1 inch. I made my spacers out of a 3/4 mdf board and a 1/4 mdf board. just used a router, and jigsaw.

stock amp will work, but will always sound better from an aftermarket amplifier.

i agree with cisko tls get beymas or o2's those are the best speakers out i have 4 o2's in my tl along with 2 4inch bullet tweeters where the stock sub use to be... what do you need spacers for? i didnt need them... i had put my amp in my car before putting my after market speakers and it sound like i didnt have stock speakers.. after market amps make speakers sound so much better.
