Question about Seats and tails

Im new to this forum and have a few questions on my mind.. ive had my 99 TL HMM for about a year and am just starting to get into modding it..but only looks.. maybe some handling and suspension but nothing crazy..im not looking to do major performance mods right now...

i cracked my rim a week ago so i just bought some 06 civic si wheels with tires for about 400 bucks.. brand new tires and wheel were in wonderful shape i will post some pics later... i think they give my car a great look so nex tim looking into lowering my car and some cosmetic things as well

i want to swap my seats for the type s seats ive seen in the CLs and what not.. i would like to know if they will fit right in and whatever other info you can give me on that.

also i have the red/amber tails.. i of course want half red half clear tails hah.. will the 02-03 tails fit on my 99 with no problems??

thanks for the help and for anything else i may ask for ahead of time haha..

no probelms for the lights. i heard something about you'd need the 02-03 harness but i didnt need one. you will need to buy amber bulbs but again, i didnt bother. just did a straight swap.

I have an 01 that I did the tail swap on, and it was either my reverse or turns that didn't properly fit the housing. It was close so I used just a bit of tape to keep them in place.

The seats I would GUESS swap over.
Now about those wheels... I think we need a pic.

It's the turn signals. For some reason, Acura decided they should change that bulb socket for 02-03s. I bought the harnesses because I didn't want to hassle with my bulb flopping around in the housing.

What size tires did you put on the Si wheels?

dont know about the blitzsafe but there is another plug in back of the radio that it looks like it could fit in.
sure you can put in amp and subs with stock radio in any car. if you want there is even a sub that will fit in the stock sub housing, i dont know who makes it though. you'll have to look around, try doing a search on the forum.

the seats wont work, well they will bolt in fine and all but you dont have the memory options, i sold some 03tl-p seat to a guy with an 00-01 tl-p i believe and his seats went in fine but he couldnt move them. something to do with the connectors or wiring harness i believe.

Yeah, I checked them today. I'm going to do the harness too (one of these days) BTW OP, I'm surprised by the wheels, they look pretty good!

99.99% sure the blitzsafe is good to go. As for amp and subs that is also a yes but with the Bose system it requires a bit different of a hook up. I would recommend a shop do it. (I DON"T mean Bestbuy, HHGreg, Circuit City... Use a real Car audio shop.)

My dad and I hooked up two 12" subs and a 500 watt amp to my stock BOSE unit. We didn't even have to remove the HU.

You can simply use a LOC ( Line output converter ). It gets tapped into the stock BOSE sub, and then gets connected to the RCA cables leading from the AMP. The purpose of the LOC is to supply you with RCA cables using the stock BOSE's wiring. Thus, give you the option of running a aftermarket system without the removal of the HU.
