has anyone come across those Sylvania Silverstars anywhere in the lower mainland? are they even sold here? i've only seen the Cool Blues at canadian tire. thx.

well i still haven't decided for sure what i'm going for...read a ton of reviews today on Silverstar and Eaglite and i am quite weary of the short lifespan that many have reported with the SS's. the pix i've seen of Eaglite's look very good and i haven't seen any with SS's. you selling your old pair?

 

You can buy the Sylvannia bulbs from WalMart.

 

Silverstars? i drove for age to the coquitlam walmart and all i saw were philips bulbs...but then again everything was strewn around and many things out of stock. the customer service at wal mart is terrible. that was my 1st and last time there. i've put in my order for a pair of Eaglite.

 

I live close to Lougheed Mall and I pop by Walmart at least once a week and I've never seen them there before.....

But i'll keep on checking, just in case!

I don't really care about the DRL/Highs as they don't matter much to me.

I'm more worried about the fogs.

 

do not buy the cool blues. I bought a set and had to return it because it looks no different than stock even ran with full current and voltage to the highbeams.

 

no way i'm buying those. i got eurolite for the drl/highs and they are just white but now my HIDs appear to be giving off a purple tint when i have the highs on so i still gotta mismatch there :banghead:

my eaglite fogs are on the way and judging from reviews and pix, i hope this will be the right bulb. if they look good, i may also order the eaglite 9005s.

 

I bought the cool blues for my integra and the light is a bit better than normal halogen bulbs, but what do you expect for $20?
