Q about placement of resistor for LED blinkers

I'm getting some LED front signals and I'm about to order some resistors from autolumination. I'm going to place the resistor in the rear inner lining, but I don't know where to place it so it won't burn/melt anything. Where can I screw it into because I don't have power tools to drill out holes.

Q for Josh: Where did you put your resistors after it melted ur inner lining? :P Is there another part to this thread? https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...00#post9201800

You should just get the replacement flasher module that can control LEDs. Its an easy install and its the RIGHT way to do it.

You don't have to do any wiring work, you just remove the original module and plug in the replacement

you make mine seem like the wrong way..

its jus an ALTERNATIVE to either way.. mine jus splices in the existing wires.. can be taken back off and no damage.. maybe just a melted lining like mine.... lol

to Tequila... i haven't touched it since then cuz it jus hangs there and doesn't seem to touch anything else now..

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was ragging on you. But IMO replacing the control module is a more correct way than resistors.

Looks like a cool mod. How much do the bulbs and new flasher cost? I already have white rear turn signals, but would like white LED's, and I want to convert the front to LED's but keep them amber.
