putting mid-muffler back

putting mid-muffler back

i took off the mid muffler before i changed the exhaust it been about 2 -years my question is i like the sound but will like to know if i put the mid muffler back will that reduce the interior sound a little or will not make a difference

It will but make sure the piping is the same size, most exhausts are going to be 2.5" whereas I think the stock mid-muffler is 2.25 or 2.00 so it will sound a little bit raspy since the air coming through the current piping will be "hitting"(dont know if thats the right term) the mid muffler piping, I tried putting mine back on, sounded like shit so I dealt with the drone

its the same size i only changed the mufflers 2 years back i was cleaning the garage and had the mid-muffler sitting around so i was going to put it back to lower the drone if it would make a noticeable difference or throw it out
