Post Problem with painted calipers

I was cleaning my wheels with Armor-All wheel cleaner today and when I sprayed the rim with the hose on full blast a small piece of paint came off my caliper! I painted them with High Temp Rustoleum which is good paint and I gave them a nice coat. The rest of them are fine. Now what? If I just touch up that spot it will be noticable. I dont want to give it a new layer of paint because I doesnt look good when its too thick. Is there any way to strip off the paint so I can repaint it?

Lightbulb

Get some "very fine" grit wet-sanding paper (made for metal). Soak it for a while in water then use that paper to lightly smooth out that chip. Then just repaint that one spot. Should turn out good

BTW - 96 TL - I used a Dremel to make a hole in the very bottom of my center console to run the switch panel wiring.

Thanks TL daddy, I'm gonna try that tomorrow. I plan on doing the same thing you did with your switches probably next week.
