There might be 2 possible causes. This comes from a person that does not do any work on his car but wash & polish & go to dealer for service. The first cause might be the brake pads because this will happen when pads get low. But you said you have changed them. The second cause could be an (Inop) Master Cylinder Float Level Cap on your brake fluid resivor. I had each problem happen on my 2000TL. The float level cap happen last year when I got my 30K service. They checked everything & the stupid light came back on the next mourning. It would do it first thing in the mourning & stay on about a mile or two. It would then go out & not do it again untill the next mourning when I first started the car. When ACURA fixed the problem I had no problemafter that. I did a few months ago need rear brake pads & that light came back on again. It could be one or the other but that float level cap might be it let me know what it was.

This a shot in the dark but you may want to be concerned with the anti-lock brakes. I've heard this can be a warning to such a system.

Hey VTEC where in Weston are you from? My best friend moved out there a few months ago and I'm in love with your neighborhood. He's on Medinah within one of Arvida's communities. I have a goal to live there within 3 - 5 years! Lucky guy!
