Problem with a 2000 TL

Hi Guys,

As you guys all know I am in need of help. Can anyone chime in, the problem i am having is a wierd noise at low speed stops it sound like metal rubbing while braking. it only comes on while breaking soft when I apply a good amount of pressure on the brakes it does not make the noise. Also my brake pads have plenty life left and i have new rotors and I also gotten both wheel bearings replaced. My second question are the axles suppose to have play when the car is jacked up. both my axle have play in them meaning with the wheels on i can spin them forward and then it stop at about 1in.

Thanks,

I don't think its the pad since i've replaced them with both oem and aftermarket oe replacement and still getting the noise. however today i've inspected it and looks like i need two tie rod ball joints
