Smile Price Negotiation on 2001 TL

Looking to buy a 2001 TL w/NAV. Knowing that the 2002s are coming out in a few weeks and that there are many changes, any idea what sort of price negotiation will this allow me on the 2001? Am I looking at only a couple hundred or maybe a couple thousand? (Price is an issue, otherwise I would be buying the 2002.) Any help is appreciated. Live in the Boston area. Current price on 2001 w/NAV is $30,500.

I'd say you'd be getting a great deal if you could get down to 29500, 30500 is pretty good for a Nav anyhow. BTW, the first 2002's will probably be all Type-S.... The TL sells so great anyhow that I think 29500 is killer, 30500 is pretty good too.

Personally, I would wait until 2002 starts to hit the streets. Then demand on the 2001 will drop slightly and you can try and start your negotiations from invoice up. Be stubborn and visit multiple dealers if possible.

I am looking at 2001 w/o nav and being offered $26,865 includes wheel locks, mud flaps, wood console trim, roof visor +TT.

Nav should be no more than 2K more but should get it for 1.7K.

Hope that helps!

MTS - 30...
I was quoted for 28500 with Nav(final price) after a week of bargaining by acura of boston. Don't even think about Framingham Acura on RT-9. I am just waiting for TLS to come into the market, so I can try it for 27000. Any how I am from Malden, MA.

I stopped by my Acura dealer and they said they're cutting prices by at least $1500 on 2001 TLs. By the way, I got my 2000 TL with nav in July 2000 for $29400, which was $1500 off sticker.

I just picked up a 01 TL for 27600 w/o NAV. I did get a spoiler though. I would add another 1500 or 1700 for the NAV.

In NY they're selling 2001 non-nav models for $26,800 with free lifetime oil changes... and that's before haggling
