How do you define cheap? What's cheap for you may be expensive for someone else. What dollar range are you talking about? That would be a better indicator on what we can recommend to you.

You pay for what you get.

A CAI is prob the cheapest performance mod. Sorry, the actual cheapest per whp would be NO.

Nitrous oxide would be cheapest for whp, but most people dont want to se N2O, headers catback intake and pulley would be a great start, headers do the most, and for the $200 i bought the obx for its great, and i have no problems, they say 20whp,

your parents bought you a 02 tl-s what awfully nice. they are going to let you mod the car too! when I was 17 I would have loved the power of a tl-s probably too much power! I love power mods, but at 17 I would have killed myself.

If you wanted cheap mods, you will soon realize that you chose the wrong car to mod. Gotta pay to play.

Do a search. You may want to do some springs/Intake/ or maybe a pulley. Technically there is no cheap mod...so save up $$.

For a cheap mod, remove the resonator box and drop in a K&N air filter.
After that the mods go to a few hundred dollars.

1. UR crank pulley - $175 plus about $75 to have installed.
2. Outlaw Thermoblock spacers - $100
3. Comptech Icebox or CAI - approx. $300 easy install.
4. Comptech headers - approx. $1000 or other Comptech knockoffs approx $300
5. Springs - aprox $250 another $250 for install and alignment
6. Sways - approx $300.

Good luck and have fun.

What do you do for a living? You must be making good money to be able to afford 02 TL-S, and live on your own.

The car is not mine, and i will never buy a civic, and i didnt mean cheap mods like Ghetto mods like taking my air filter off to make it sound like a turbo motor like some inbreds that i know did.

I didnt say that I didnt live with my parents i said i didnt live with my mom, I still live with my dad and am in high school and plan on going to college, but I just started saving money when i turned like 14 and have had a couple jobs, i make most of the cash mowing lawns in the summer. Thats were there is big money and its all tax free . But recently I just got a job at a call center and they pay pretty well there so most of my money goes into my car and my gf. and no drugs if that was what you were hinting at.
