Poss. '04 Type-s Pics

Found this on vtec.net and they also have an article from autoweek stating that they hear of a honda sedan testing in
europe that might be the '04 tl type-s.

If this is true, thank god honda decided not give the tl any
resemblance of the next gen accord.

guys if the pics. don't show, sorry about that first time posting pics. anyways try this

http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=20241

P.S. they say this might be the euro accord but that doesn't seem likely cause I just can't see them having two sedans for two markets. Hopefully this will be the next gen tl.

The front looks like Lexus IS300 and the rear looks like Toyota Camry.

the overall shape and proportion looks very nice, the wheels/tires look more stretched out, which is good
we'll just have to wait and see if the honda guys can give the car equally good looking lights and body kits

but the car's size, make me wonder if it CAN replace the TL, i think it looks more like an compact car, the rumored 330, is300 fighter

Isn't there a rumored 4-door version of the RSX coming soon? Could this be it? I think it was called the TSX. I doubt it would be the TL since it appears to be a little on the small side, but a "4-door version of the RSX" sounds about right imho.

uh... guys, these are spy photos, meaning they're only good for an approximation of what the new shape would look like, how can you tell it's ugly? the body looks very stylish and sporty, like an is300

it would look really sharp if Honda does a good job with the lights

...and it seriously looks like a compact car not mid-size

That's the euro Accord. As for the TSX, that's the rumoured Acura that's suppose to be sloted under the TL and above the RSX. People have said that the Euro accord will be imported here as the TSX. Again, just rumours, nothing solid.
That is NOT the new TL. As for seeing spy pics of the '04 TL, I doubt we'll see anything for a while considering the release is quite a while away.

I think it looks very nice. I agree with STi that it appears to be about the same size as an IS300 and definately smaller than our current TLS.

Looks nicer than those spy shots of the American Accord. Honda should really bring that over here. If the Accord had looked like that, I might not have bought a TL.

OTOH, though, it does look smaller than the TL. I doubt it is the new TL. I'll believe the new TL's shape when Honda intros it...

euro-accord

I agree that we get shafted on this side of the pond. Those european accord's are sweeeeeeet!!! I wish honda would come out with an accord type-r coupe.

It says at the top of the page that that is the Euro Accord which is just that, the European Accord, not the American TL. There is currently a different version of the Accord in Europe (yes, Honda does indeed build 2 versions of the Accord) that we don't get here. It's a little cooler looking (IMO) and a little smaller than the American version. The also build a Type R version for Europe which I believe has a 220hp 4 cyl engine. I think Sport Compact Car just printed a review of it. Maybe if you go to their website you can find a picture of it.

So my guess is that the 04 TL will not look like that.
