Well I am giving my 2002 TL-P(and payments) to my grandmother and getting a 2003 TL-S next month...I am of course gonna transfer over all my mods except of cousre for the wood package, but I was wondering what color should I get...my current TL-P is Anthracite metallic and I was thinking of getting it again since Acura now offers it for the tytpe-S, but I was also thinking of the ABP or maybe the WDP with the Ebony interior...I know it is ultimately my decision, but I would like all of your opinions as well...thanks in advance.

 

I still think the Satin Silver is the best color scheme since it hides the dirt very well and it's a metalic paint with ebony leather.

Anthracite is a very nice color... rich metallic look after good wash/wax is just too awesome!! I would go with it again, if I were you.... ABP is a very nice as well, but just isn't as cool to look at as Anthracite or WDP.... WDP/Ebony would be very nice, too... not to mention it's RARE!!

My Pick... Anthracite -> WDP -> ABP...

TLluver, I got WDP/ebony and I love it..I would definitely recommend that color combination..I was going through all the color choices and they are all just too common, excpet for anthracite/ebony TLS and white diamond/ebony TLS..Those two are the rarest and IMO, the best looking combinations.Since you already had anthracite, go with WDP/ebony.

Do you have wheels on your current TL? If so, and you are going to put them on the new TLS, you might want to find out what color they look good on.
I like WDP, and with the ebony interior, you can get the aluminum trim... pretty sporty, if that's what you want.
By the way, what a great grandson you are.

 

I absolutely love the pearlescent effect of the White Diamond Pearl and it does a fantastic job of looking clean even when it's filty.

 

Thanks for all the responses guys, I am pretty much set on getting the Anthracite Metallic again...just too nice and rare of a color to pass up, especially the way it looks in the sun when it's all clean and polished!...I'm probably gonna get it with the OEM body kit and spoiler, should look real nice with my rims and GC coilovers...I'll post pics as soon as I get it...thanks again.

and all three color choices are awesome. There are too many Blue owners tho. I would say Anthracite again, but it's popping up alot lately. Someone just got a '03 Anthracite TL-P down my street.

WDP/Ebony is a good choice as well, mainly cause it's the rarest. White hides dirt rather well, to a certain degree.

 

I vote Anthracite.

 

ah... the same predicament i am in.. (not the giving up of one, but the color) i can't decide on whether or not i want the SSM or the ABP. it sucks!!!! i guess it might come down to availability when i go to get it here in the next month

go to their upgrade center and choose the acura tl-s. they have their 3d model thing where you can choose what color you want, etc, and choose wheels to see how it looks

LOL! Wow, mine stays pretty clean for a while. But sometimes, when there is alot of dirt flying around, I get dust all over it after I have washed it. And the Black interior, oh yes! Very hooot!! burn burn!

 

My ebony interior does not really get that hot, more like warm...but then again I have 18% tint all around and it's very reflective, like black chrome!
