Hey, I'm gonna order a set of fog lights hopefully by the end of this weekend, but I'm stuck between a few choices....


First off, I have a 2001 Taffeta White....

Should I go; halogen bulb/clear lens, yellow bulb/clear lens, or yellow bulb/yellow tinted lens (my main concern is the color of the lens).

My gut is tellin me to go with the clear lenses, but two friends keep telling me to go yellow...anyone have any input?

...Oh and I'd definitely go HID, but I don't have the funds right now for ballasts, so don't even mention it and rub it in haha... i guess headers and fogs are my only mods this summer since I'm spending all my money studyin abroad

 

im not a fan of fogs on tl/cl... they look good at night, but in the day time, i say you should make the look as unnoticeable as possible.

 

I'm trying to decide myself.... I was thinking of trying a good yellow bulb and keep the lens clear. I figured that I will never be able to match the hids, so I'll try the yellow until I do the mod. I just dont know what the yellow will look like with the orange side markers... Can anyone suggest a nice Yellow bulb?

 

I know some Salvo's in Tallahassee. I used to work for Pensacola Pools East.

P.S. I voted for clear. I have a set of fogs coming with a blue lens and hyperwhite light.

 

People ask me if I'm related to them all the time...I have no idea who they are lol. I've seen you driving around a few times, you have an AZ sticker on your window right? You go to FSU?

 

LOL I grew up with the youngest son and worked for them building pools for a year a few years ago. Tallahassee's a small town, were you talking to someone from here that knew them?

Nah no stickers (thinking about getting some) but I do go to FSU. I haven't seen yours around though. We should think about getting together for a shoot before you go back home.

I personally don't like the yellow fog look, so my vote is for halogen/clear

 

Yeah I dont like yellows that much either it kind of looks to me like both turn singals are stuck in the on position. But to each his own.

 

I like the yellow (JDM whore). but for your car I would say clear with yellow lights.

 

ummm this is a tough choice. personally, i like the yellow fogs and thats the set up i have now, with 6000k's. I just got my 01-03 civic fogs with yellow lens, but I dont know how its gonna look. Im trying to stick to a theme, but cant fgure out which way looks best. I just spent an hour looking at led turn signal bulbs, and LED H11 fog light bulbs.

Ill wait to see what you guys think.
