my car wont start,. is the viper alarm making it not to start or the accelerator??... i really need some help.. thanks in advance

 

have you tried to trouble shoot?
did you test the battery? can you honk your horn?

if yes to honking your horn; Does it make any clicking noise when trying to start?

 

the battery is new, the radio is workin, but i never honk the horn, i just drove my car going to work this morning

 

and yes it cranks.. but it doesnt start..

 

what year is your ride? 99s have a problem with the ignition switch
the horn question was for you to honk it to ck for power
Even new batteries can fail

we need any background info leading to this problem
car miles or kms and any recent maitenance done or needs to be done

 

i got the 99 3.2 tl,100,000 miles, just bought it last january, last month i just had oil changed, i only drove my car for 2000 miles in 5 months.. and now it wont start..

 

Did you recently install the alarm? Green key icon on dash blinks normally?

 

the viper alarm was already installed when i bought it.. and everytime i take off my key from the ignition the green key on dash blinks.

 

What does the green ind. do when you insert the key and crank the car?

 

it cranks but it just wont start.. the car starts this morning again but then at around 4 pm it didnt start again..

He means the Chip in the Key. This has happend to me before, Chip goes south, Car Cranks but no Start!

The green Key Icon should blink twice then go Off when you Insert the Key if it stays on Chip is Death = Inmobilized Car.

 

Does it cranks or just click? )
Only for me it sounds like starter issue?
