Try AEM, they might have a set of pulleys for our TLs.

I made about 10hp in the upper rpm range but the most noticeable difference is downlow below 2,000rpms. If you purchase the AEM Tru-Power pulleys they will come with the two belts you need to install the pulleys.

I'm not too knowledgable about the topic of pulleys. How exactly do they work? I have heard that it affects the alternator so that if you are sitting in traffic then the engine might turn off. Can anyone enlighten me?

Is there a web site for AEM to get the pulleys from? Also what happens to your AC and your Alternator in your car with the pulleys installed? Is there any drain on the battery?

AEM doesn't have them list for the TL yet, but I am pretty sure the V6 Accord ones will be the same. Any members that order them and they don't fit, I will refund your money.

Not exactly sure what your question is but, No you don't have to advance or retard your timing or anything with the pulleys. Your car will not die out at stop lights. I have a pretty hefty stereo in my car and I have not had any problems with dead batteries or my car dieing. I have a 350watt sub amp and a 240 watt stereo amp. The AC seems to put the biggest drain on your alternator and if you are idling at night with your AC and head lights on, you will notice that if you increase the rpms over 1,000 your headlights will get a little brighter. You alternator should last longer with the AEM pulleys, since it doesn't spin as much as it does with the stock pulley.

The Pulleys have to be one of the best mods for chirping your tires off the line.

Either he was lying or you are going crazy. No aftermarket manufacturer makes pulleys for the TL.

a member stated on this board that the AEM accord V6 ones did not fit so I assumed he was correct. If they do fit, however, i am willing to give them a try.

Can these be installed ourselves and if so, what does it take? Also, do they void the warranty?

Brew I dont think you can do it yourself unless youre a mechanic cuz even a couple speed shops said they couldnt do it and some said about $150 just to install. Is there any shops out there in Federal Way?

I haven't used any speed shops but a great general-purpose shop that only works on honda/acura is Auburn City Imports. They do excellent work and have the lowest labor rate around. The owner was #1 WA state mechanic years ago but got fed up with the dealership so he and his wife opened their own shop. I don't know if they will install pulleys but you can call and ask.
