Man, the fun I would have had owning a TL at age 16. One can only imagine. Oh well!

Nice car dude. You have an excellent building block to work with. Go with cosmetic fixes first, before the performance. If I had your car I would get:

1) tint
2) body kit(looks so hot on silver TL's) and possibly a spoiler
3) cleared headlights

Whew, your car would definitely be off the chain then!

 

I like the full wood on your TL. Looks like you got a good price on it also

Oh, yeah, I like your rims better than mine...

Things I would do...
1) get floormats(I can't really tell if you have any)
2) if your state allows, take off the front license plate holder
3) get your baby tinted... It would be the sickness if you had some sort of mirror type tint.
4) get a nice shiny intake for under the hood.
5) paint the plastic engine covers
6) some fog lights <---their addictive
7) to complete the woodness-ness get a wood steering wheel LOL woodness-ness LOL!!


I personally don't really like cleared headlights, I think it's rice and attracts pigs, I would like to see some smoked taillights though

 

I see we have differing opinions! I think smoked tails are more rice than cleared heads, however, I think 99-01 TL's with cleared headlights are sweet. I've seen a silver in person with cleared headlights, and it looks ALOT better than stock.

'02s and up are a different story, since the headlights are bigger. It looks good, but I don't think I'd do it to mine(03).

Definitely remove the front license plate. Cleans up the front end alot!

 

I'm right there with you Pritch...they DO NOT look rice by any stretch of the imagination. They look especially hot with '02 tails :wow:

all of you say rice this and rice that but what IS rice? you guys will call anything rice if YOU dun like it.... sorry for you folks who just started modding and getting into this world but the term rice is played out
