Hope you guys can roll with me on this one. A while back I was trying to figure out how many TL's were made in 03. I didn't come up with any hard numbers, but I'm pretty sure it was in the order of 90K. I own a SSM 03 TL-S w/Nav and was trying to figure how many they produced with that combo.

Okay, here goes:

The TL-S accounted for about 40% of total sales - 90,000 x .40 = 36,000 units.

Nav was a fairly uncommon option. I think only about 15% of cars sold that year had it - 36,000 x .15 = 5400 units.

SSM was probably the most popular color choice, so I figure perhaps 1/3 of the total were SSM - 5,400 x .33 = 1782 units.

Of course, green was the most limited color choice - maybe only 600 or so produced?

Anyway, was kind of bored so I thought I'd share this. Anyone think my numbers are way off?

WDP and ebony is a rare color combo... and I think exclusive to the Type-S. so how many do you think there were made total navi and non-navi?

 

there are charts that have all of this listed i believe. i have definately seen this for the CLS6 before..

 

also, how many 2000 TLS6 non navi in laguna green were made?

 

Actually, they made one(1). I think it came with the A-SPEC spoiler, too. Coincidentally, someone on the board has it. He doesn't post much so I can't remember his username. Do a search...
