thats cool, I wish it was black or a dark color like the 2000's. but I still like that design.

It's nice..But quality wise, doesn't feel as solid as our's that we have now... It's light, feels very flimsy...

I asked the guy at Acura and he said it had a different transponder or something like that. It was for the MDX at the time though. Don't know if this one is for the TL-s

The new remotes reset your seats and mirrors to your stored setting when you unlock the doors. I guess, pressing lock and unlock simultaneously is just the way to disable the memory feature.
I wonder if the dealer would sell us just the new case, so we don't need to buy the electronic innerds
Does anyone know if the remote will work on our '99-'01 TLs?

It came with the 2002 TL-S.
I'm not sure it would work with older TLs.
It's about time Acura and Honda get different remotes. After all, we did pay for the more expensive Honda.

that is for the 2002 TL's but it WILL work with the 2001 CL-S and TL, you just have to get it programmed, our innards won't fit inside it as far as I know...
I'm gonna order one tomorrow I'll let you know how it goes

At first i thought you were talking about my cousin. F.O.B. no but fer real, on the 99's, i guess they're probably like 00's, that stupid panic button always goes off for me. Its happened 2 times in the past month. Its freakin embarrasing. I prefer this remote. Besides, ours looks too much like Accord.

Pimpn- There is a fix for the panic button problem on your remotes- it consists of putting a small foam pad inside to decrease the sensitivity. Your dealer can do it under warranty for you. The new style transmitters will work with the 01 CL- we are testing to see if they will work with the 99-01 TL. We sell them for $45.00 each.
