Pinstripes
When I first bought my car, I had the dealer installed it for me. But I took it off like 2 years ago cause it does look gay.
Don't know what the fock I was thinking about adding it on before. Here is a really old pic of my car when I had the pinstripe on:

It does look a lot cleaner and 100% better without the pinstripe.

Pinstripes are dealer installed. Ususally they are tacked on to the price as an "appearance package". When I bought my old 2000 Accord V6 all the cars already came with the pinstripes on the cars. Before agreeing to purchase the car I told the salesman that I wanted the pinstripes removed......needless to say, off they came

ahhh cool cool! they can't be that expensive to put on can they?
not that i want one
I've got red pinstripes on my NBP TL-S, when I bought the car (used) I asked the dealer what was the deal with the stripes. He said that the first 2002 Type-S's were shipped with them (most likely dealer BS). Also the service department said they could not take them off because it was painted under the clear coat. I said "whatever" and took the car anyway. I did take it to a paint place to get scuff on my bumper fixed and while I was there they also told me that it was painted on and would be hard to take off. At first I thought the stripes kinda sucked but in the last year and a half they've kind of grown on me. Sorry I have no pics. Actually there are some pics of my car on the SF meet thread (like page 5 or 6) but you can't see the stripes.

thats cool! maybe there are different types of pinstripes, cuz i know the one my neighbor took off was some sort of vinyl. So, maybe u can get them painted on and also glued.

if they are paited on they are on top of teh clear and arent that hard to take off.
some come with it painted and clear coated. but most of the time people ask for them at the dealer, thats when they are just stuck on with vinyl. whatever, i think they shouldnt have those on any cars. it looks like a long key scratch from far away
