But thank god LAPD caught the guy later.

 

Maybe it was the same guy. He doesn't like TL's so he is going around hitting them.. HAHA...

My insurance company just billed him for full cost.

I didn't persecute the guy because of all my hassle. No biggy!!

well i was comming to a stop when ::WHAM:: i get hit in the rear and then i see this guy hauling ass thru the red light.

insurance will pay for it - a $200 deductable, i cant complain i guess. but i thought my car was going in today but its goin in tomorrow. they say it will take 2 weeks or so. i may even need a new HKS muffler

So hit & ran, huh? Didn't you get the license plate of the car? That's how my case was solved.

BTW, that doesn't look like 2 weeks job.

 

How u catch the guy? Got the license plate number ?

 

It was late at night & raining. I tried to write down the number but came up with different vehicle. But I was sure that I got it correctly. So the officer played around with the numbers & came up with the right combination. He said the last 2 numbers were switched around.

 

What has to be replaced? Just the rear bumper and side body or was the light damaged too? Sorry about that man.

my girl just got hit and run..... we don't know what to do. do we call cops? they can't do much anyway can they?

they say the repair is around $2K not including bent muffler.

i didnt get the plate of the car, by the time i'd realized what happened he was already going across the intersection and cars were comming in the other direction.

 

sigh... that's sad..... hope it gets out the shop quickly

 

:yack: Makes me sick... I almost had some stupid ***** pull out in front of me today. Thank God my best friend is a cop in the county I live in, and he was driving. But its not a good thing that his gun was in the glove compartment in front of me cause I felt like gettin that **** out and poppin a couple rounds in her direction!!!
