Dave -

You da man! A picture is worth a thousand words. Can you clarify for all of us again exactly what you got for the price you paid? All of your options and accessories aren't listed on the contract.

Thanks again.

Paid $31,230 for the car. The extras were moonroof deflector, splash guards, wheel locks and burlwood shiftknob. Paid too much for the extras...

Driver, I had promised too many times to post the darn thing to not finally do it. It is there for the benefit of Mr. T, among others. Those that paid MSRP surely enjoy their new cars as much as we do.

There is probably a better way to post these but this is the best photo-ignorant I could do.

You got a great price but why the high APR? Should be able to get 7.25-7.50.

tlsDave,

You didn't have to post the invoice! I don't know about others but I use the numbers you gave on this board and I got very close to what you said it was possible back in March!

What did you do with the "Type S" badge you took off? I'll take it if you don't want it

Cool

I really didn't care about the higher APR except that I think it may have helped my deal (dealer reserve discussed on another post). I waited the allotted five days and wrote a check for the balance.

The $3K downpayment on my VISA provided 3K airline plan miles. The credit card was charged 4 days after statement cut-off and will be paid in full on May 10 with no interest. (CA license plate H82BNDT pending)

Mr. T., if I were still in Oregon, it would have been $31.6k out the door. Note the $2,819 in tax and license. California taxes the sh*t out of everything it can find.

So, you pay off the loan after 5 days. This is neat.

I want to learn more. Do you have the link to the discussion? Thanks.

hsinchu, the thread was that posted by Raptor on April 18 called how good is the tl-s alarm system.

Dealer reserve is discussed there and tells how financing thru the dealer potentially adds profit to his deal. If you pay the loan in five days, no interest accrues and you own the car, possibly at a better price because the dealer thought he would make money on the loan.

Could someone share with me the technique for including the link in the post to make the reference easier for others to find?
