well i contacted the company last night about my starter. it was a shipping error. they overnighted me my 05 tl starter and i recieved it this morning. here is their site. definitely recommended just based on their customer service. http://www.lowmileageparts.com/

I must give props to Phee for really providing some great information for future swappers. I plan to give Phee money to buy all the parts and install it and I will help with the install lol. Phee has an amazing gift on getting great deals on stuff...sheesh

picked up the engine yesterda
Update:

got up this morning and removed the intake manifold, runners, and valve covers.

the intake manifold was covered in black. i couldnt see any of the metal, cleaned that up along with the runners and valve covers. this engine looks brand new now.

took out the plugs and replaced them (got 6 coil packs for sale if anyone needs em)

cleaned the injectors (are these the same in the tl-p and tl-s?)

shined up the rocker arms, springs, valve covers.

ptting it all back in tomoro.

also, got my order of bolts n shit

Update
Work starts today

finished rebuilding the engine yesterday evening, ill be pulling the old engine out today and possible bolting up the trans and clutch/flywheel to the type-s engine today.

engine completely out today, pretty straight forward. came out in 1.5 hours. now i play the waiting game until my new pilot bearing arrives (it got damaged when i re machined the flywheel)

Phee, if you need an ecu, I know a local for me who has an 03 type-s ECU listed for 120. I can prolly get him to sell it for 80-100 since i've bought a handful of stuff from him before. lemme know.
