I haven't looked for it as of yet, where exactly is it located on our cars?

How often should the pcv be changed?

How often should the PCV valve be replaced?
Any recommendations regarding brand?

As a general rule, most manufacturers will recommend changing every 30,000 miles. Not sure about Honda/Acura, I know I have at least 35,000 on mine now which is why I am going to replace it.

I honestly have never heard of any TL pcv valve going bad but if i had to i would change it at 100,000 and it would be with a factory one. Forget putting aftermarket crap on your car cause i know i would espically when it comes to those little things

I was checking my receipt for the 60,000 mile service I had done at about 79,000 miles, if I did have this replaced at all it would have been taken care of then. The receipt doesn't show it, I am currently at about 113,000 miles. So best case the valve was changed at around 79,000 miles. Worst case it wasn't changed at all. Are there any disadvantages to not changing it now? It doesn't appear to be real easy to get to, but I could be wrong.

Well to be honest at a 60,000mile service they do not change them. Worst case would be a little loss of gas mileage and maybe a little more oil consumption. the pcv valve is a one-way valve that allows gasses to escape from the motor.
