So I am in my car with my girlfriend, when she notices that the front right corner of the passenger airbag cover (towards the front of the car) seems raised, compared to the rest of the cover. First of all I was shocked that she noticed this before I did, then I looked at it, and it did look and feel like it was somehow lifted. I tried pushing down on it but no luck.

Has anyone else had this happen to them or heard of this before? Aside from looking crappy, does this affect the airbag somehow? Since my TL-S is an '03 model, I assume that the dealer can and should fix this right?

Noticed it on my '03 the other day, never noticed it before the tranny was replaced.

02, and no issue. But heck yes the dealer should replace a defect in fit and finish.

 

I had it since I got it. I always forget to tell them to check it. My ex-gf noticed that before me. I think the fact she saw it before I did bothered me more then the fact that it wasn't fitting right. If you remember to tell the dealer, tell them on your next oil change, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

 

I noticed the raised corner on my car too a while back but never addressed it with the dealer. Next time I'm there and I remember, I'll have them take a look at it.

I've got the same, anyone find it a bit weird that we all have the same raised corner?? Has anyone opened it up? I don't know if it's possible without killing yourself.
