You have a manual its in there i think page 40 something not to sure though well depends on what year u have

 

that would be it...i read it somewhere on this site when i first joined but havent been able to find that thread...i have a 03 tls no nav and no manual came with the car...

 

Same as me i tried to do it but it wouldnt work. if u have the manual its 160-161 i didnt know i had it in my room shoot i need 2 put it back in my car LOL!.

 

i havnt looked it up but i heard that you press and hold that button while someone else presses and holds the garage door button, its something close like that to program it that way, not completly sure though

click your cars year, then model--wait for the pdf file to open
move the cursor over the Index and you can look for specific things by page number or read the whole book
The TL has several features which need to be understood to work fully~
Some people bookmark it- others download and save for future use

Yup and they have different ways because my sis has the 08 TL and she didnt have to have someone press the button on the garage door they do it another way now so just read that manual and u should be able 2 link up.

 

For my garage, there was a button that u pressed to let it send out the signal to be programmed. During those 30 seconds the light on the motor of the garage was lit, and when in those 30 seconds, u press and hold the button on ur rearview mirror for it to be coded. You know its coded when the garage light blinks.

 

the owner book is for a reason- it will have year specific info you need to know

Show of hands- how many know the radio-nav codes and have them stored somewhere safe, and on their acura.com account

 

i don't have an acura.com account
but i do have those codes stored in my tl binder

along with all of the manuals which i sourced from ebay, a carfax from 2 weeks after purchase, and receipts for everything i bought for it or had paid to get done.
