Has anyone painted the door handles on there 99- TL's yet? and if so how did it turn out?

Why?

The chrome looks sooo nice. Esp on Silver and Black.

Vin says 2001, but it's really a 2000 with an upgraded cupholder!!

 

They ONLY look good on Silver and Black.

I have body colored door handles, but instead of paint I used a Silver metallic vinyl that I got from a local speed shop. It's a perfect match to the factory silver and it looks exactly like paint. This way if I ever want chrome handles again I can just remove the vinyl.
