overheating

TodaY I was at McDonalds drive-thrU and my friend was complaining that my A.C. was blowing hot air. I was like uuuuhhhh it'll get cold in a minute but it did'nt so whatever I pulled into a parking lot to eat and as i'm eating I look at my thermostat and it was 3 notches to the top I automatically turned off the car. I waited about 5 minutes and turned it back on and it went back to where it was so I knew it wasn't a mistake. So, I turned off the car again and called my brother he came and checked everything. Everything was fine so I turn on the car again and it was at normal temp. I was confused I drove my car home. and am taking it to acura A.S.A.P.

If your car is overheating then I doubt that it would get back to normal. So I really don't think nothing serious is wrong but make sure you check the coolant level.
BTW, did you see any smoke? If it happens again then take it to the dealer as long as you still have warranty.

Re: overheating

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I took it to the dealer and they told me that a fuse was blown... They replaced that and replaced my AC fan for no charge.

My car was overheating too in March. It turned out to be a bad thermostat.
