over size oil filter.

OK the reason I ask is I have a RSX and TL. The filters I have laying around are NAPA GOLD now the only difference I see is that the one for the RSX looks taller than the one for the TL. If I ever needed a filter and could not find a TL filter anywhere ( which will be never) Could I use the RSX filter.

Also the 2004 TL is the same as the 2001 TL
2005 TL is the same as RSX filter.

i wouldn't use the rsx filter because although the total filter capacity may only be slight different you do not know offhand what it's designed oil dP is for that filter. the tl may require higher/lower oil pressure than the filter is designed for, and there is no sense taking a chance. now if you happen to call napa and they tell you there isn't any difference, then by all means go ahead.
