Bye Bye Acura!

Well i got rid of my 03 TL-S. Carmax offered me more than it was worth. I was just tired of such a high mileage car. I just purchased a 04 GTO 6 speed and im likign it so far. The problem is i just got 6 Iridium IX spark plugs and now i have no car to put them in. The first person to PM me a name and address will get these plugs sent to them for free. Thanks for all your help you've given me.

wow! If you had said, "I just wanted 400+ HP while the world still allowed such cars," or, "I was conceived in the back seat of a 64 goat and wanted to come full circle," I'd have said, "right on, man!"

But to trade a high mileage, reliable car for a Pontiac is a little crazy. I have heard that car is a blast to drive. Congrats! Enjoy the ride. That's wicked horsepower. But don't expect to get as manymiles as you would have gotten from your used Acura. Hmmm, maybe I should check Ebay for a 66 goat... mmmm

It's NOT AMERICAN! It's a pretty cool Australian car, though.

The last incarnation of the GTO was made in Australia by Holden. It was actually a Holden Monaro that has been "rebranded" as a Pontiac.

It was based on the same Opel-derived platform as the late German-built Cadillac Catera.

Good to see some others are aware the car is actually a Holden as well. I've seen a couple GTO's with the Pontiac badges swapped for Holden, looks a little better IMO (since Pontiac has a less than perfect reptuation)

Enjoy your Monaro! (Holden name for GTO )
