The Original 2G owners

I know a lot of people are buying 2 G tl and Tls because they are a lot more affordable.

Who are the original owners on here.

I got mine on Jan 22nd 2001. And 6 years later the car is still awesome......

you got your car on my birthday! nice. It's nice when the tranny lasts the whole time, huh? I was the 1st owner, but 2nd driver. it was a 2000 i got in 2001 b/c the person who had it before could't afford the lease payments, so my father and I negotiated a deal with the dealer. Does that count? =)

I'm an original owner as well (02 TL-S). I still love the car - even though the exterior is starting to look a little dated. It's been paid off for years - and although I'm on the 2nd replacement tranny from the dealer it still drives great.

I'm not getting rid of it any time soon.

hmm, i really don't think it looks that dated. mell maybe the 99-01 a little and thats because of the rims and amber tail lights.

I bought mine back in Feb. '02. Been good with a few "hiccups" here and there. I tried to sell her, but I couldn't do it in the end. Still have her to this day 114,000 miles later. She is due for a fresh coat of paint( to get all the scratches, dings and imperfections out) and a sound system soon after that. I'm also slapping back on my Work wheels after the tires arrive and I get her out the paint shop.

Picked up my 03 TL-S on 27 Feb. I had the tranny replaced but haven't had any other major problems. Still a blast to drive.

I took delivery of my 2003 TL-S in May of 2002 with 3 miles on the odometer. Now she has about 9,800 miles on her and she looks, drives, and smells the same as when I bought her new.

Yeah. The mileage is pretty low only because I work in the city and commute via the Long Island railroad and the NY subways most of the time. I only use the TL-S on weekends.

I would have to respectfully disagree. The 99-01's look dated with the front fascia and amber tails. However, the 02-03 is still the hottest looking family sedan in the $30-$35K price bracket(when it was new)...even compared to the UA6 and all the new Infiniti and Lexus cars.

Dude, you were 12 when you got your car???

I know a bunch of these guys must have recieved ~$30,000 cars between the ages of 16-18, but I am not buying 12.
