So we're stuck at just 17 orders. What happens if we don't get 50? How long do we wait?

C'mon people, we need more orders! 65 people said they wanted these gauges!

Don't worry though, there is a plan B if we don't get enough orders.

I think it's we just pay regular price ($100.00) and we can get it sooner. because the 80 bucks is a group order with a quantity of 50 and over. right, Nate?

That's real! I don't really mind paying 20 more bucks for this kick ass gauges. 65 people signed up and only 20 actually payed, thats fuxkup, payed 30K for the TL mind as well spent that $80 too. Tell HID only sent those 20 gauges and BURN the rest of them! since the rest of the TL owners won't pay 80 bucks! Nate please put on the list who signed up and did't paid on the board! I really wants to see it.

Does anyone nkow if these gauges will fit a 01 CLP 3.2
I know almost everything else with my car is the same as the TL. Also if this is a guage overlay, how can it power the new lights? And will it have all the proper transparent markings to show up things such as SRS, side airbag, oil, seat belt, And VSA for the type S and TCS for the Premiums. I know the stock guages include the transparency for both the VSA and the TCS, its just set to light up on a diff location. Also when is the deadline on ordering the guages. I need to do the research on whether it will fit my car. THanks everyone.

Sorry, these won't fit the 99s.

Not sure if it will fit the 01 CLP... you might go to your dealer and sit in the 00-01 TL and compare the gauge faces.

All the extra markings will shine through the face of the gauge.

Plan B is a possible buy out of the rest of the gauges... more info on this soon!

I didn't like the PayPal option, so I'll be mailing a money order this evening. Should hit the West Coast by EOW.

I'll reply again when I've sent it so you guys can update the count.

I was thinking...

IMO, I really dont care for the blue/green and red lights. What I was wondering if I just install the overlays, will the stock green light shine though? and if so would it be bright enough? This way it will keep the stock green color but with the Type-S color guages. hmm...Nate what do you think? But man $80 and just use the plastic piece? hmm...

I am considering it but i need to fully make sure they fit the CLP 3.2. I wont get a chance to do any research until after this thursday. What is the status on everything? I am quite new at this board so i do need to know how safe this transaction will be considering i already got bashed over at the CL forum on considering the buy without any guarantees.

How compex is it to insert the gauges though? You have to remove the whole dash board off.

Possibly... it may be that the 4 1999 gear boxes don't align up with the 5 2000-2001 gear boxes on the gauge overlays. But yes, I'm pretty sure they will fit on a 1999 TL.

Check out this, it may answer some of your questions:

Would this fit in a TL-S. Maybe some of them might be interested. I know some of them don't even bother reading the TL Discussion. Maybe our count will go up?

Plan B is in effect - the Honda gauges of the same style ours are being made in have been shipped off to StreetEffectz. He will bring them to the Park Ave meet June 9th so that other members can post their thoughts on the gauges and place orders.

Plan C is a buy out of the remaining gauges, so be sure to get your orders in before that happens or you may end up having to pay more than $80!

I can say part numbers are different for the CL-S and TL-S. No gaurantee, but since you can fit CL-S gauges in a 00 TL I'm pretty sure it will work.

96TL, try emailing Sales@HIDVision.com

Question

Do you know for sure that they will not fit on a 99TL. I could care less if it has D5 instead of D4. I will get them for sure if they will cut it close enough.
If not does anyone think this will fit on our TLs?

I do believe they will fit on a 99TL - though the gear lights won't line up because the 99 has 4 gears instead of 5. I can't gaurantee it because its never been done though.

Hey those needles look pretty cool! Kinda makes me want to try them out!

C'mon people, we are getting really close to having enough people! I hope when StreetEffectz shows you guys how the gauges look at the Park Ave meet June 9th it will spark some more interest.

Modification? None. You just slip the indiglo overlay over the stock needles and put everything back together.
