I went to both Pep boys and autozone..neither ahve the yellow top for the 00 TL...they do have it for an 00 Accord V6....is that OK too? Let me know thanks

 

If it fits-it's OK. I know the Optima site does not list our cars. I found my red top at Autozone. Ask them bec I know they can order (yellow) for 'ya for much more $$$ of course.

They are batteries ... made by optima.

 

I bought a yellow top from sears about a yr ago and its a great battery. In order to get it 2 fit they reoved the battery case and it fit fine....if u go to sears they do it all for u w/no prob.......

The yellow top is a deep cycle battery, and red is not. If you have a lot of electronic accessories where your alternator cannot keep up, or you just want the piece of mind that your battery can become more discharged without harming it, then get a yellow top. If you don't expect to discharge the battery (like using accessories for extended periods with the car off), the red top is fine.

 

 

i got a system fog hids and a bunch of uther stuff hooked up 2 the yellow top and it doesnt miss a beat
